The New Jersey Senate race has taken a turn that noone expected nor would have wanted - Anne Estabrook, one of three contenders for the Republican nod, suffered a stroke earlier this week and has bowed out of the race for health reasons. She says that she suffered no long term damage, however the increased chances of a repeat occurrence led to her decision to withdraw.
Both of her former rivals, Murray Sabrin and Joseph Pennacchio have expressed their hopes that she experiences a speedy recovery.
