In an ABC News Blog Post by Z. Byron Wolf, it is reported that Ron Paul was set to drop out of the race tonight in a video, becoming the final contender outside of McCain to do so. And within a short time, a video was uploaded onto YouTube - before being taken down quickly.
However, due to the fact there are sites which archive deleted YouTube videos, the video is able to be seen. And it does not indicate that he is intending to drop out - quite the opposite, he says that his supporters should continue to work to get as many delegates as possible for the convention in the upcoming races. He goes on to say that he has selected June 21 as the date for the March on Washington, and that he is encouraging grassroot groups to take the lead in organizing it.
Why Z. Byron Wolf reported that Paul was dropping out tonight, and why the video was pulled is not entirely clear, though hopefully some information should start to come to light as time passes.
9:47 Update: The video has been placed back up on his official channel.
10:26 Update: ABC News has changed the headline on its page to read that he is suspending his campaign, which is as equally incorrect as its first statement.
10:52 Update: Multiple people have stated that they have contacted ABC, but over 3 hours after the initial posting they continue to stand by their story. Other sites are starting to pick up on the story as well, even showing the video he released, despite the fact it contradicts the story.
11:09 Update: ABC News has changed their story’s title to now read “Ron Paul Moves on From Presidential Campaign,” and have made several modifications, including acknowledging that he did not say he dropped out, however they are still making the claim that he has moved on - which is still false as he in fact urged supporters to work to try and get as many delegates in the coming contests as possible. It’s very interesting that they are claiming to they stick to the story as they have now changed it three times, and still have yet to report the truth.
1:09 Update: At this point it seems as though ABC News has done all it’s going to do as far as accommodating the truth goes. Unfortunately, many other sites are now reporting that he has either dropped out, suspended, or as CNN is now reporting, “hinting” at dropping out. None of this is the case, of course.

Good for him, I will continue to support him, however; I can only wish the good doctor had prescribed testosterone for himself the last 6 months. If his message had been wrapped in Mitch Romneys body, he would have been “anointed” as President.
Ron Paul will be one of my heroes for the rest of my life. But this is no longer about Ron Paul, it’s about his message of liberty and the Constitution.
RON PAUL WILL NEVER BE PRESIDENT OF THE U.S. !!! WAKE UP !!
We better, if you’re a REAL revolutionary, get a plan of serious action before it’s too late.
The Men Behind the Curtain will make the ballot box an impossible solution. If you don’t know who the Men Behind the Curtain are, you better find out, and find out soon.
Don’t take my word for it…..
“Those who make peaceful revolutions impossible, will make violent revolutions inevitable” John F. Kennedy
“God forbid we would go even 20 years without such a Revolution” Thomas Jefferson.
I think these 2 men are probably smarter, and wiser, than any of us.
By my calculations, we’re about 11 revolutions behind. It’s our own fault.
Without decisive action, we’re all wasting our time. You better understand this is now beyond reconciliation in the ballot box, or your children will be slaves, as you will be in your old age.
I’m sick of the cheap talk, although I will go ahead and show up, as a delegate, to my county convention in hopes I’m wrong.
But……….I’m not.
