Two Ron Paul Republicans running for Congress have released updates on the statuses of their campaigns.
Brent Sanders, candidate for Louisiana’s 5th Congressional District, is scheduled to speak at the April 15th Rally in Washington D.C., and has assembled a campaign staff. Among those who have signed on are Andrew Axsom as campaign manager, Vinson Mouser as assistant campaign manager, Travis Hale as Treasurer, Scott Spivey as Secretary, Daniel Hale as Assistant Secretary, Trent Bynog for all things internet, and Scott Loyd as Speech Writer. He also has stated that he is still looking for people to join his committee to elect, and is asking for donations to his campaign. Both of these things can be accomplished by visiting his website.
B.J. Lawson, candidate for North Carolina’s 4th Congressional District, has reportedly outraised his primary opponent substantially, though is continuing to ask for more donations to ensure that he remains ahead. His campaign has carried out canvassing in their area and has had success in getting the word out, and has set up both a campaign blog and a YouTube channel. More can be found out at his campaign site.
