Ron Paul made an appearance on Tax Day to discuss the issue of taxes with Neil Cavuto. It’s a pretty interesting interview, as it veers into the issue of the media’s treatment of Ron Paul. Paul also makes the case for eliminating the IRS, pointing out it forces people to incriminate themselves, and feeds into a two part problem of overtaxing and overspending which ineffectually manages the economy.

RON PAUL AN AMERICAN HERO!

All I could think of was the “gov’ment” scene in Huck Finn….
He makes some very good points, like the fact that we survived for over one hundred without an IRS around, and that we need to rely on American business, rather than going in debt to foreign countries. Just imagine if China called in our debt? Next thing you know, California, Oregon, and Washington now are flying the red flag.

Hey, I’m reading that book!
Meh, I don’t think that getting rid of the IRS is that bad.
