Hillary Clinton needed a win to stay in the race, but she needed a double digit win to get momentum against Obama. And she did just that, pulling ahead of Obama 55-45. Throughout the night the percentages swapped back and forth between an 8 and 10 point lead, with Obama hanging on mostly by virtue of his heavy lead in Philadelphia. But once those votes were counted, the rest of the state heavilly voted in favor of Clinton, swinging the percentage back to the 10 side.
Considering the game of expectations both played in the lead up to this primary, Obama has without a doubt come out the loser of the contest. While Clinton’s campaign stated they would be “happy” with a single digit win, Obama’s campaign similarly sought to downplay expectations by stating he hoped to keep the race close. But he simply did not downplay enough, as he lost by a wider margin then was originally thought, and was originally hoped for on his part. This solidifies the recent momentum Clinton had been building in the face of Obama’s recent gaffes, and will give Clinton a legitimate reason to keep up her efforts.
Meanwhile, with 89% reporting on the Republican side, Ron Paul has moved up a point from his previous 15% to 16%. But even more notable then the percentage, is the raw number. It currently stands at over 107,000. His best statewide performance to date was California on Super Tuesday, where he pulled in over 110,000 votes. If he can top this in Pennsylvania, a much smaller state, and much later in the race, that is a very telling statement about the long term success his campaign is having in gaining supporters for a limited, constitutional government.

ATTENTION: HILLARY DID NOT WIN PA BY 10!! The numbers below from PA state department show she only WON BY 8. Perception matters and facts are facts. Let’s hold the media accountable to report the truth. Please send emails and flood the phone lines of CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, and why not FOX. She did not pull off a double digit win meaning Barack Obama did break into her base supporters: whites, blue collar workers, and over 60 voters. Let’s get to work troops! MSM is still reporting the numbers at 45/55. The link to the PA State Dept. results is provided below.

Every result so far as been rounded to the nearest number. If you want to be absolutely technical, the lead was about 9 points, not 8. But when you round both numbers, it becomes 10.
And if you truly think their case of rounding is so egregious, where were you when Ron Paul was left out of the Fox News debate despite polling better then some of those invited? Where were you when he was misreported to have dropped out? Were you flooding the phone lines? Unlike a case of rounding, which has been equally applied to all results so far (as far as I know,) these things were actually unfair and a double standard.
